Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager for the ASDA operation in Sherburn-in-Elmet. This full-time, permanent role runs a 4 on, 4 off night shift (19:00–07:00), leading warehouse operations, developing teams and ensuring targets are met.

You will collaborate with support functions and site leadership to deliver operational excellence and a safe, engaging environment while achieving customer and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse or logistics teams
• Strong people management and coaching skills
• Experience managing KPIs, productivity and service levels
• Good understanding of warehouse management systems and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations during your shift to meet productivity, quality, service and customer KPI targets
• Develop Team Leaders and colleagues to foster a high-performance culture
• Drive health, safety and environmental standards and ensure proper training
• Monitor performance against operational and financial targets, identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build relationships with customers and internal teams for effective communication and alignment
