Greggs is hiring a Van Driver and Operative in Kettering, United Kingdom. You'll handle local deliveries and collections, work in a fast-paced food environment, and perform quality and temperature checks to meet food safety standards.

You will need a full valid driving licence, be comfortable with long drives, lifting and carrying, and occasionally work unsociable hours including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ideal: multi-drop HGV Class 2 driver experience in food sector.
• Must have a full, valid driving licence (HGV not required).
• Comfort handling food and driving long periods; able to lift and carry.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours and lone-working when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver local deliveries and collections for Greggs shops.
• Carry out quality and temperature checks on products and ensure food safety standards.
• Support surplus product collection and redistribution to community outlets.
