Job summary

Lineage Logistics in the UK is recruiting a Transport Operator to join our Transport team at Hams Hall. You will monitor day-to-day transport operations, ensure vehicle and driver compliance, and liaise with Lineage depots and delivery points.

You’ll manage driver hours, use the transport planning system, and handle diary departures, invoicing, and status reports. The role follows a 4 on 4 off nights pattern with a total salary of £30,802.20 per annum.

Qualifications

• Previous Transport experience.
• Experience in managing drivers hours/legislation.
• Familiarity with Transport Management systems or willingness to learn.
• Target-focused, able to meet tight deadlines and work with a team.
• Strong IT skills; Excel, Word and Outlook are important.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day transport operations for the site.
• Manage vehicle and driver compliance to stay safe and legal.
• Oversee driver performance and liaison with depots and delivery points.
• Assign drivers and fleet using the transport planning system.
• Handle de-briefs, delivery rejections, and GRRS notifications.
• Support invoicing, status reports and day-to-day activity management.
