Job summary

Fusion Resources Ltd seeks an experienced Night Shift Team Leader to join our fast-paced food manufacturing operation in Bridlington. You will lead production operatives, ensure targets are met while upholding food safety, HACCP, GMP and health & safety standards.

The role offers progression to Shift Manager for the right candidate, with a 4-on 4-off night schedule from 6:00pm to 6:00am. Key responsibilities include coaching the team, monitoring yield and efficiency, resolving issues, and

Qualifications

• Must have proven leadership of a production team.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP).
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the production team during the night shift.
• Ensure daily production plans and targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Monitor production performance: yield, efficiency, labour, waste and output.
• Escalate issues to the Shift Manager promptly.
• Collaborate with Technical Team to uphold food safety, quality and GMP.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, GMP and Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and KPI information.
• Support training and cross-skilling of team members.
• Promote a positive team culture and lead by example.
• Provide effective shift handovers and communicate outstanding issues clearly.
• Provide cover for the Shift Manager when needed.
