Job summary

The Best Connection Dudley is recruiting for an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join a client site in Tipton. You will lead and motivate a night team, ensure production is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards, and oversee warehouse activities.

You will manage shift handovers, monitor productivity, and support with staff training. Immediate start available with temp-to-perm progression. A £100 attendance bonus is on offer.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Machinery operating experience advantageous.
• Reliable and proactive, able to lead by example.
• Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.

Night Shift Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and leading a team during the night shift


• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards


• Operating machinery and supporting machine operators where required


• Monitoring productivity and team performance


• Conducting shift handovers and reporting any issues to management


• Assisting with staff training and development


• Managing stock movements and warehouse activities


• Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Requirements:

• Valid


• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Machinery operating experience and/or knowledge would be advantageous

• Reliable, proactive, and able to lead by example
