The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking Night Warehouse Operatives with Counterbalance Forklift experience to support night shift operations in a busy UK warehouse. You will pick, pack, and use a counterbalance forklift to load/unload vehicles, ensuring safety and accuracy in stock handling and dispatch processes.

Key duties include operating the forklift safely, maintaining quality checks, and working on a rotating schedule as part of a team.

Formación

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence required.
• Experience in picking/packing helpful.
• Ability to operate forklift safely in a busy warehouse.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced role.

Responsabilidades

Night Warehouse Operatives with Counterbalance Forklift experience

to support night shift warehouse operations. The role involves picking and packing orders as well as operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using pick lists
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to load and unload vehicles
• Move and store stock safely within the warehouse
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation
• Carry out basic quality checks on picked items
• Assist with general warehouse duties including stock handling and replenishment
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Working Hours

• Night shifts
• 10:00pm to 7am
• Any 5 days out of 7 on a rotating weekly rota
• Shifts may include Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Saturday depending on the rota
