Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor in Chesterfield to lead depot operations during the night period. The role follows a 4 on/4 off pattern with 12-hour nights from 6pm to 6am, ensuring safety, quality and efficient service to customers.

You will oversee loading/unloading, maintenance of equipment, and daily paperwork, while managing changing workloads, coordinating with teams and upholding Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
• Experience managing changing workload priorities and working to deadlines.
• Experience dealing with customers.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organising and completing quality maintenance of all products.
• Responsible for completing depot tasks within strict timeframes.
• Developing a safe working environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety requirements and legislation.
• Promoting, monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security of the work areas.
• Monitoring of plant, equipment and tools.
• Compliance with method of work.
• Ability to identify damage to products and understand damage procedures.
• Promoting company image/brand including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Identifying areas of the business where improvements can be made.
• Completion of all daily paperwork.
• Able to manage the loading and unloading of vehicles on time in full.
• Must be flexible and willing to work within all depot departments.
• Continuous drive and determination to deliver the highest standards possible.

About The Role

The shift pattern for this role will be4 on 4 off working 12 hour nights 6pm to 6am

As a Night Shift Supervisor you will complete day-to-day tasks within the depot ensuring full compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures. Tasks will be completed efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring the depot provides a first class service to customers and business alike.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Completing depot requirements by organising and completing quality maintenance of all products

• Developing a safe working environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety requirements and legislation

About You

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

It would be highly desirable if you hold the below qualifications:

• Clean driving licence
• First Aid qualification
• FLT licence (ideally B2)
