Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a structured cabling engineer in Wigan to support a national communications provider on a short-term site-based assignment. You will carry out switch audits and complete patching schedules; disconnect ATM and other devices before construction works commence.

A valid ECS/CSCS, preferably datacomms specialist, and your own data cabling tools are required. Proof of right to work in the UK and references are requested prior to start; work typically lasts around 3 hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold ECS/CSCS, preferably datacomms specialist.
• Must have own data cabling tools.
• Proof of right to work in the UK and references required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out switch audit and complete a patching schedule.
• Disconnect ATM and other devices prior to construction works commencing.
