Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Ampthill is hiring a Supermarket Assistant for a part-time role up to 24 hours per week, including night shifts from 20:00 to 06:00. Night premium at £3.75 per hour applies, with a pay rate of £13.00 base (£13.25 after 90 days). The position offers flexible working patterns where possible and DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfilling online orders for driver delivery to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout support, Click & Collect, and other orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
