Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in Sudbury. You will support customers with the Partner-led service, replenish stock, fill online orders, and help across store operations. A night premium of £3.75 per hour applies 22:00–06:00, with a baseline pay of £13.00 per hour and £13.25 after 90 days.

The role is temporary, with varied 37.5-hour shifts over seven days during the December period. Flexible hours and DBS checks may apply per recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfil online orders for delivery to customers' doors.
• Reduce wastage by due diligence and sell-by date checks.
• Support checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
