TALENT GUARDIAN LIMITED is recruiting a Site Engineer for a well-established food manufacturer on the Wiltshire/Berkshire/Hampshire border, just south of Hungerford. This is a hands-on night shift role covering maintenance of all machinery and equipment on site.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer and Production Manager, you will handle breakdowns, maintain maintenance programmes, keep records, and contribute to safety and policy compliance while supporting the engineering team.

Formación

• Must have mechanical/engineering experience.
• Good communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work night shift and 37.5 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Attending mechanical breakdowns and assisting with machinery adjustments.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults.
• Maintaining machinery maintenance programmes and records.
• Assisting with maintaining an inventory of spare parts.
• Keeping the workshop clean and tidy, and controlling tools on site.
• Maintaining and improving the building fabric.
• Providing holiday and sickness cover.
• Deputising for the Chief Engineer and assisting with clerical matters as needed.
• Completing all documentation relevant to the position.
• Liaising with Managers to help implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant UK law.
