Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited seeks a capable leader to mobilise and run the Cold Weather Shelter across Victoria and Kilburn in London. The role covers three waking night shifts Saturday–Wednesday (10-hour) and a day shift Friday, with a remote option on Fridays. Temporary 2–3 months, with remote work supported by provided equipment.

You will oversee staffing, safeguarding, and inter-agency partnerships while ensuring safe, effective care and compliance with budgets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading services for homelessness, rough sleeping or multiple disadvantage.
• Experience guiding staff teams in demanding night-time settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults and risk management.
• Experience applying trauma-informed approaches to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation and daily operation of the Cold Weather Shelter across two London services.
• Coordinate recruitment, induction and deployment of staff and temporary workers.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for the team.
• Oversee safeguarding, client engagement and outcomes, and partnership work with councils.
