Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Night Senior Carer to join a care home and lead a team of Care Assistants on night shifts. You will support the Deputy General Manager and contribute to high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You'll bring NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. A warm, compassionate approach and commitment to residents’ dignity are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving residents individualised care and support

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews
• Always respect residents' dignity and preferences and create a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment
