Job summary

Mavern House Nursing Home in Melksham is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to lead and support the care team on nights, with a chance to work days. The role includes comprehensive training and ongoing development, aligning with CQC standards and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

Valid RGN NMC Registration.
Minimum 1 year's experience as a Registered Nurse.
Clear understanding of CQC standards/ legislation.
PCS and electronic care planning experience.
Strong leader, clinically skilled, well organised, able to lead.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality nursing care to residents in the care home.
Lead and support the care team to deliver care plans.
Carry out clinical assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care.
Liaise with GPs, case managers, primary health care practitioners and other agencies.
Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate decisions to residents, carers and colleagues.
Utilise IT systems to secure accurate resident, workforce and resource data.
Integrate current knowledge of dementia into practice, informed by evidence.
