Job summary

St Monica Trust in Stirling is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) to provide clinical nursing care across a care home setting. You will assess needs, administer medication, and lead on admissions and complex care while maintaining accurate records.

You will work nights, 42 hours per week, collaborating with GPs, pharmacists, and the care team to uphold high standards of care, documentation, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered nurse with NMC (Adult) registration.
• Experience in clinical nursing and risk assessment.
• Experience in care planning, audits, and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical nursing care by assessing residents' needs and administering medication.
• Lead on admissions/discharges and manage complex clinical care and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records for care plans, incidents, and health data.
• Collaborate with GPs, pharmacists, residents and relatives, and care teams.
• Support policy development and ensure high standards of infection control.
• Cover senior posts when required and mentor junior staff.
