Qube Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a night shift role in Ashford. The position operates from 22:00 to 06:00 in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment, offering full-time hours on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

You will safely operate a Reach Truck, move palletised stock, replenish locations, and ensure accurate inventory handling using WMS and handheld scanners. PPE is provided for all staff during the night shift.

Qualifications

• A valid, accredited Reach Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse.

Responsabilités

• Safely operating a Reach Truck within a temperature-controlled warehouse.
• Loading, unloading and moving palletised stock.
• Replenishing picking locations to maintain stock availability.
• Putting away incoming deliveries into designated storage areas.
• Picking customer orders accurately when required.

• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting wider warehouse operations when required.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy and well-established logistics operation based in Ashford.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled forklift operators looking for full-time night work within a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Working from 22:00 to 06:00, you will play an important role in the movement, storage and replenishment of stock, helping to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

The Role

As a Reach Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Working Environment

Please be aware that this role involves working in a cold store warehouse, with temperatures ranging from approximately 0°C to -25°C.

• Temperature-controlled cold store environment.
• Working hours of 22:00-06:00.
• Fast-paced working environment with productivity targets.
• Manual handling duties may be required.

Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts in cold temperatures.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A valid, accredited Reach Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck within a warehouse.
• A good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work the 22:00-06:00 night shift.

Desirable experience:

• Previous experience working within a cold store or frozen food warehouse.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• A Counterbalance Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
