Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking a reliable Reach Truck Driver for our Newmarket depot. You will operate a heated reach truck in cold storage, manage stock using the WMS, and assist with picking and pallet assembly.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance licence with relevant operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Cold Storage Operation: Safely operate a Heated Reach Truck within frozen storage environments (-18°C).
• High-Level Racking: Stack/unstack pallets on mobile racking up to 14m high.
• Stock Management: Use WMS to log stock locations and confirm orders for dispatch.
• Teamwork: Collaborate to ensure seamless flow of customer products in the supply chain.
• Order Preparation: Assist with stock picking and pallet assembly as required.
• Compliance: Complete all paperwork accurately while adhering to Health & Safety legislation.

Salary: £30,838.08 per annum + Overtime (all breaks paid)

Shift Pattern: 7 ON 7 OFF, 06:00 – 18:00

Key Responsibilities

• Cold Storage Operation: Safely operate a Heated Reach Truck within frozen storage environments (temperatures reaching -18°C).
• High-Level Racking: Stack and unstack pallets on mobile racking with maximum working heights of up to 14m (45 feet).
• Stock Management: Use our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to log stock locations and confirm orders for dispatch.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively to ensure the seamless flow of customer products in and out of the supply chain.
• Order Preparation: Assist with stock picking and assembling pallets of multiple products when required.
• Compliance: Complete all relevant paperwork accurately while adhering strictly to Health & Safety legislation.
