Job summary

A Quality Inspector is wanted for A1 Personnel Employment Agency Ltd in Romford to join the night operations team. The role focuses on ensuring manufactured components and assemblies meet internal quality standards and customer specifications before advancing in production.

You will work with production, engineering and supply chain to conduct inspections, maintain accurate quality records and support ongoing improvements, contributing to a culture of quality across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing quality inspection environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Competent in using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (SPC, MSA, ISO/ASME).

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections against drawings and specs.
• Maintain traceable inspection records and audit-ready documentation.
• Support process improvements and corrective action activities.
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process verifications.
• Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and reports.
• Raise and document non-conformances and containment actions.
• Escalate quality concerns to minimise production disruption.
• Assist investigations for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
