Qualifications

• Confident reading engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Comfortable using measuring tools like calipers, rules, squares, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections on fabricated steelwork to ensure compliance.
• Use measuring tools to check dimensions and tolerances.
• Spot and record quality issues and work with Supervisors to resolve them.
• Complete inspection reports and quality paperwork accurately.
• Perform non-destructive testing on welded parts.
• Conduct final checks on components before release.
• Support continuous improvement in the shop floor.
