Job description

The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

As Night Shift Quality Controller, you will uphold the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through our passion for people and food. Your Duties:

• Conduct duties safely, safeguarding yourself and others.
• Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene procedures.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments.
• Approve finished products through specification confirmation, testing, and re-work if necessary.
• Complete paperwork and records, including weight, temperature, label checks, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
• Communicate Non-Conformances via Daily Quality Reports.
• Maintain measurement equipment and highlight repair needs.
• Support production, prevent use of sub-standard ingredients, and ensure quality and safety.
• Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
• Report issues affecting food safety, legality, or quality to management.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by supervisors or managers.
