Job description

The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Your Duties:

• Safeguard your own safety and the safety of others in all duties.
• Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments to supervisors.
• Approve finished products through specification confirmation, visual and measurement tests, and manage re-works as needed.
• Complete paperwork and records of checks such as weight, temperature, labels, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
• Report Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances via Daily Quality Reports.
• Maintain measurement equipment and highlight repair needs.
• Support production by preventing use of sub-standard ingredients and ensuring only safe, high-quality products leave the site.
• Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
• Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the relevant managers.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by supervisors or managers.
