Job summary

Connect Personnel are recruiting a Quality Assurance (QA) professional for a permanent night-shift role in Rochester. You will ensure products are manufactured safely, legally, and to required quality standards while working with production teams to monitor processes and perform checks.

The role requires accuracy, strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP, and the ability to work independently through the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing QA/QC role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular quality and food safety checks throughout production.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Complete quality checks, records and documentation accurately.
• Identify, investigate and report any quality or food safety issues.
• Ensure products meet specification, customer and legal requirements.
• Monitor HACCP controls, CCPs and hygiene standards.
• Support investigations into non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) are consistently followed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment.
• Escalate any food safety or quality concerns promptly.
