Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd is seeking a Production Team Manager to lead our night-shift production team at the Newton Abbot site, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. You will develop your team, implement improvements and work with other functions to deliver daily production plans.

The role focuses on leadership, KPI achievement, asset care and continuous improvement in a fast-paced dairy environment, with nights 18:00–06:00, 4 on/4 off, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence people at all levels.
• Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure effective delivery of products.
• Champion Health & Safety within the area of responsibility and promote safety culture.
• Develop the team to meet KPI targets: safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Collaborate with other functions to plan, prioritise and deliver work.
• Support and supervise raw materials handling and dispatch of finished product.
• Lead continuous improvement activities applying CI principles and tools.
