Job summary

BV Dairy in Shaftesbury is seeking a Night Shift Manager to lead our 4on/4off shift from 18:00 to 06:00. This permanent, full-time role offers a £49,000 annual salary and opportunities to drive continuous improvements in a food manufacturing environment.

You will manage the production team, uphold quality and safety standards, and contribute to a respectful, proactive workplace. On-site parking and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in production management roles.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Experience in the food industry with relevant certifications is a plus.
• IOSH Certificated and safety awareness are valued.
• Experience leading or participating in projects of various scales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the production team to meet standards and targets.
• Ensure all products are manufactured to required quality and quantity on time and in full within cost constraints.
• Maintain safety (food and personal) and environmental standards at all times.
• Build, maintain and promote a Continuous Improvement culture.
