Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Limited are seeking a Night Shift Process Supervisor for a busy Brandon manufacturing site. You’ll lead a production team on the night shift, drive performance, uphold safety and quality, and develop your people.

In this hands-on leadership role you’ll set shift targets, monitor output and downtime, coach operators, and apply basic Lean tools to reduce waste. The role includes a night shift premium and three consecutive days off each week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a production team.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge when necessary.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the production team during the night shift.
• Set shift targets and monitor output, quality, safety and downtime.
• Coach operators and develop skills for a can-do culture.
• Address performance and behavioural issues fairly.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, PPE, housekeeping and hygiene.
• Carry out routine quality checks and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
• Provide clear handovers and complete accurate shift records.
