Job summary

AN OPPORTUNITY exists within the material department of a multinational engineering company for an experienced Production Controller/Warehouse Operative on a permanent night shift. The role covers inventory control, SAP-based material handling, and coordination with senior management on workload scheduling.

Responsibilities include supply and control of materials, stock cycle counting, traceability, and KPI deployment to optimise processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP in manufacturing is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a pressurised, deadline-driven production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy with standard packages must be demonstrated.
• Knowledge of material handling techniques is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supply and control of materials from goods in to stores, warehouse and production areas.
• Control the movement of materials from goods receipt to end user physically and electronically using Excel and SAP.
• Ensure materials are kitted and available to production in a timely manner.
• Conduct cycle counts of stock and inventory on site.
• Manage traceability and shelf-life issues for key materials.
• Record stock locations and manage level loads in warehouse areas.
