Job summary

Response Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Materials Handler in Dunstable for a permanent role. Salary is £44,555 per year inclusive of shift allowance, with a Monday-Thursday schedule from 15:45 to 01:30 and potential overtime.

You will replenish materials, manage stock, and support production efficiency on the shop floor. Responsibilities include environmental health and safety duties, stock replenishment along a fixed route, material movement, waste removal, updating visual management boards, and

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet production timelines.
• Effective communication with line workers and management.
• Accurate stock handling, labeling and condition checks.

Responsibilities

• Environmental health and safety: perform duties per policies; keep workplace clean and safe.
• Stock replenishment: deliver raw materials and supplies to workstations to prevent stoppages.
• Material movement: move finished products to the next stage.
• Waste removal: remove waste and packaging to maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Visual management: update status boards reflecting inventory and production status.
• Problem solving & support: assist with tooling changes and minor troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
• Inventory management: monitor stock levels and process ERP transactions to maintain accuracy.
