Job summary

Workmate Agency is hiring a Night Shift Multi Plant Operative for a Wembley-based waste facility. You will operate mobile plant machinery, including loading shovel and 360 excavator, on a night shift from 8:00pm to 6:00am, Monday to Friday.

The role requires valid Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator licences, experience with plant equipment in waste/recycling settings, commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently as part of a night team. Weekly pay and ongoing work offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Loading Shovel licence (essential).
• Valid 360 Excavator licence (essential).
• Experience operating Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator machinery.
• Experience in waste management, recycling, transfer station, quarry, construction or industrial environment is desirable.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with permanent night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator safely and efficiently.
• Move, load and manage waste and recyclable materials around the site.
• Support general site operations and material handling.
• Carry out daily plant inspections and report defects.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Work effectively as part of the night shift team.
