Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of the anaerobic digestion plant. The role covers planned maintenance and breakdowns, with data collection and reporting to optimise plant performance.

You will transition from day training to a Tuesday–Friday night shift (19:30–06:00), with overtime paid for additional hours. A telehandler license may be provided; a full driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced, safety conscious individual with mechanical or electrical engineering skills.
• Ideally with a relevant qualification in engineering.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and carry out hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the AD plant as instructed, safely and efficiently.
• Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs under supervision.
• Support the Planned Preventative Maintenance System (PPMS) and data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Assist the Site Manager to improve safety, health, environmental and operational standards.
