Job summary

Enable Elderslie in Elderslie, Scotland is seeking Personal Assistants (Support Workers) for night shifts (9:30pm-7:30am) to make a positive difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. The service comprises 9 adults across 2 bungalows, supporting daily life from meals to community activities.

No care experience is required; Enable recruits people based on their values and transferrable skills to help individuals live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and behaviour support as needed.
• Support individuals to develop social networks and access the local and wider community.
• Help with meals, household tasks, and daily routines to promote independence.
• Work as part of a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
