Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document patient trips via Hospital Throughput computer program.
• Transport patients to and from care areas; assist with getting in/out of bed, wheelchair or stretcher.
• Communicate with patients regarding their pending departure and arrival in departments.
• Transport equipment under the responsibility of Transport Department and ensure safe handling.
• Use mobile devices to access Hospital Throughput program and record movements.
• Assist patients with dressing/undressing as required and hand off signed tickets to the next department.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient transport equipment and report equipment issues.
