Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Plymouth is seeking a part-time Transport role for 24 hours per week with a Day Shift (8am-4:30pm) and weekend/holiday rotation. You will document patient trips, move patients between departments, and coordinate handoffs with nurses and receiving departments.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and CPR/BLS, with basic computer skills and prior healthcare or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Document patient trip in Hospital Throughput system.
• Transport patients to and from care areas; assist patients to/from vehicle.
• Communicate with patient about pending departure.
• Move patients safely using bed, wheelchair or stretcher.
• Transport equipment under Transport Department responsibility.
• Access Hospital Throughput Program via mobile device.
• Assist patients with dressing/undressing as required.
• Obtain and sign 'Ticket to Ride' from nurse on arrival and depart.
• Coordinate with RN before patient leaves or arrives back.
• Ensure patient is safe before leaving department.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient equipment; report issues.
