Qualifications

• On the job training.
• Basic computer experience required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Document patient trips via Hospital Throughput computer program.
• Transport patients to and from care areas; assist patients to/from their vehicle.
• Communicate with patients regarding their pending departure.
• Move patients safely to/from beds, wheelchairs, stretchers and care areas.
• Transport equipment under the Transport Department.
• Use the mobile device to access Hospital Throughput program.
• Assist patients with dressing/undressing as required.
• Obtain a "Ticket to Ride" from the nurse on arrival and signature before departing.
