Job summary

Evri Premium (DHL eCommerce UK) in Coventry Hub seeks an experienced Operations Manager for the night shift. You will lead the night operations, drive performance, and ensure safety, compliance and efficiency while developing a high-performing team.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will own day-to-day operations, manage resources, and deliver improvements aligned with business goals, ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Significant operational management experience, ideally within logistics, transport, distribution or a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams of 12 or more colleagues.
• Strong understanding of KPI management, productivity, statistical analysis and operational reporting.
• Experience managing budgets, workforce planning and operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop operational teams across the night shift.
• Drive operational performance, owning KPIs, productivity and service standards.
• Manage resources and costs, monitor budgets and forecast staffing needs.
• Maintain health & safety, regulatory compliance and risk management across the site.
• Oversee driver and subcontractor performance to meet SLAs and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and management to deliver improvements and accurate performance data.
