Qualifications
- NMC registered nurse with current practice
- Ability to assess and plan nursing care
- Competent in medication administration and documentation
Responsibilities
- Assess all aspects of clients' care needs and provide nursing care
- Assess social/health care needs of new clients and review ongoing care
- Ensure care plans are completed with clients, relatives and other health professionals
- Administer prescribed medicines and document in line with policy and guidelines
- Supervise junior staff and provide guidance in the care home
- Attend mandatory training days/courses
- Maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team
