Noble Foods Home of the Happy Egg Co. in Leicester is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for night shifts. You will maintain and improve our automated production environment, responding to breakdowns and driving efficiency on a modern site.

Salary: £55,470
Location: Leicester Ratby Lane
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you ll be based at our Added Value site in Leicester, playing a critical role in maintaining and improving our automated production environment.
You ll respond to breakdowns, deliver preventative maintenance, and collaborate with teams across the site to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responding quickly to breakdowns and minimising downtime
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing
Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
Driving improvements in OEE, machine performance, and reliability
Working cross-functionally to enhance production standards
Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audit readiness
Identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions
Championing Health & Safety, GMP, and site hygiene standards
Multi-skilled engineer with Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3+)
Recognised apprenticeship (highly desirable)
Minimum 3 years experience in an automated production environment
Experience in FMCG, food, or brewery sectors (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
