Job summary

Myton Food Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Bradford manufacturing site. You will maintain, repair and improve production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency, reporting to the Site Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, machine changeovers and calibration, with strong emphasis on safety and quality standards. Opportunity for progression within a growing group.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair FMCG production equipment.
• Understanding HACCP principles; IEE 17th edition is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnose and repair or coordinate external help.
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to improve efficiency.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Stay updated with industry advances relevant to the role.
