Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a driven Multi-Skilled Engineer to support the performance and reliability of our production operations in Malton. You’ll maintain factory plant safely and proactively to keep peak performance and compliance.

This site processes pork products and offers a structured 4 on 4 off night shift (5:30pm–5:30am) with a salary up to £52,000. Join a skilled team focused on safety, lean maintenance, and continuous improvement, contributing to line efficiency and production uptime

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with cross-discipline capabilities.
Experience with lean maintenance and TPM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment.
Ensure all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve line efficiency.
Uphold best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Contribute to lean maintenance practices, including TPM and CI tools.
