Job summary

Synergi Recruitment in Kent is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery to maximise uptime and site performance.

You will work a 4 on, 4 off pattern with a £42,000 basic salary plus benefits. Requirements include maintenance experience in manufacturing/FMCG, mechanical background, and strong fault-finding skills. Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or packaging environments.
• Mechanical maintenance background.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Proactive and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding.
• Mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Electrical isolations (LOTO).
• Continuous improvement projects.
• Supporting production and minimising downtime.
