Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is seeking Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operatives for a night shift role at a busy UK warehouse. The position runs 10:00pm–6:00am and requires using Mandarin to communicate with colleagues and operate the warehouse system.

The role involves stock taking, picking, packing, sorting stock and loading/unloading containers. Applicants should be comfortable with heavy lifting and meeting daily targets while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Mandarin for communication with colleagues and use of the warehouse system.
• Stock checking and inventory control experience is beneficial.
• Experience in picking, packing and handling goods is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Stock taking and checking inventory using the warehouse system.
• Use Mandarin to complete tasks and update stock information.
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack goods for dispatch.
• Sort and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload containers and pallet wrap as needed.
• Move stock safely and perform manual handling.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and supervisors.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets.
