The Night Shift Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Night shift at the Depot. You will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters, and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites to smaller geographic areas for final delivery. The Night Shift Manager is fully responsible for shift performance, actively seeking ways to improve cost, service, and operational efficiency.

• Manage all aspects of night warehouse sortation efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensure depot key KPI’s are achieved, such as sortation compliance and vehicle departure times.
• Manage budgets to meet service levels, including productivity, labor costs, overtime, and agency usage.
• Lead, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements of the ‘O’ Licence.

Essential skills and experience required:

• Transport knowledge, skills, or experience, including regulations.
• Management experience leading and managing a team.
• Ability to work independently in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in fast-paced logistics environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
