Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep production running safely and efficiently through planned maintenance, quick fixes, and smart improvements. You will work on night shifts, performing PPM and TPM tasks while diagnosing faults to minimise downtime.

The role emphasizes reliable operations, good housekeeping, and adherence to health and safety procedures including LOTO, in a local Stoke-on-Trent manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance capability in manufacturing.
• Experience with planned and preventive maintenance processes.
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair production equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) per schedule.
• Complete TPM by monitoring equipment condition and checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults at night.
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory levels.
• Record maintenance activities and root causes in the system.
• Prepare tools and materials for site improvements and capex.
