Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd in Leyland, Lancashire, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK pizza manufacturer. You'll be part of a team of 40 engineers, conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance across all machinery, with night shifts and weekend work.

The role focuses 80% reactive and 20% PPM, involves pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, sensors and PLC fault finding, and uses a tablet for job tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing environments, preferably in food industry.
• Experience working on mechanical and electrical components while following H&S regulations.
• Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds and reactive maintenance.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent) in engineering.
• Proactive, hard-working attitude in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance across site machinery.
• Work primarily night shifts and weekends; use tablet for job tracking.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient production environment while minimising downtime.
