Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd in Leyland, Lancashire, is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading UK pizza manufacturer. You’ll perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on plant and packaging machinery, including mixers, ovens and chillers, in a fast-paced site.

The role is 42 hours per week with night shifts (18:45–07:00). Overtime paid at 1.5x; pension matched at 6%; holiday entitlement of 23.5 shifts. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in engineering preferred; multi-skilled applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing environments, preferably food industry.
• Ability to fault-find on electrical and control systems.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in engineering.
• Confident working with pneumatics, gearboxes and drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on site equipment.
• Lead PPM tasks and root cause analysis for faults.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
