Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

Major Recruitment are proudly working in partnership with a large global drinks manufacturer based in Glasgow. Due to growth, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join the night shift team.

Please note, that you will need to be available for an initial 3 months training on day shift if successful.

You will maintain and repair a range of automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment faults




• Perform planned and reactive maintenance




• Support improvements and modifications




• Maintain accurate records in CMMS




• Uphold health, safety, and food quality standards




• Engage in continuous improvement and root cause analysis

Equipment Exposure:

• Canning, bottling & packing lines




• Syrup room & utilities (boilers, compressors)




• Depalletisers, palletisers, and Kisters machinery

Requirements:

• Time-served Electrical Engineer with FMCG experience




• CMMS experience (e.g., SAP)




• Strong problem-solving and communication skills




• Familiarity with RCA tools and 5S practices
