Job summary

Greencore Group is hiring for a Nights shift role at our UK site. The position starts at £18.07 per hour and rises to £18.54 after training, with overtime after 36 hours per week. You will work on a fast-paced line, supporting SMI equipment, capper operations and quality controls across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing quality and safe products.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong and effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures.
• Positive attitude and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient running of the SMI and any associated equipment (logopak, spice capper, top tagger, video, pallet stacking).
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues (mechanical and procedural).
• Liaise with Area Process Leaders, Line Coordinators, Engineers and Shift Managers.
• Ensure the correct glass and caps are on the line.
• Support capper changeovers as required.
• Consider quality, health and safety at all times; work to Right First Time ethos.
• Mentor and assist with training of new staff; data capture.
