Job summary

Greencore Northampton is seeking a diligent materials-handler for a permanent full-time role on a Saturday to Wednesday night shift, 22:00–06:30. You will ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and manage stock in a chilled environment.

The role requires good numeracy and English, a commitment to food-safety standards, and accuracy under pressure. Full training will be provided, with competitive pay (£15.88 per hour) and pension and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and English language skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work safely and follow H&S practices.
• Accurate with good attention to detail; able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of FMCG/Warehouse advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are delivered to the lines in a timely manner, within chilled handling limits.
• Ensure end-of-run materials are returned and waste bins are attached to lines.
• Maintain stock levels and issue materials to the fridge porter.
• Raise any quality or food-safety issues to the Quality Monitor/Line Coordinator/Technical team.
