Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join the night shift operation in Scunthorpe. You will lead a team of production operatives, own line performance, and ensure safety, quality and production targets are met on nights.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of GMP and food safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining a positive safety culture. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Team Leader/Shift Leader/Supervisory role (3–5 years).
• Ability to lead production teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of production operatives.
• Take ownership of line performance during the night shift.
• Ensure production schedules and targets are met.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and GMP compliance.
• Monitor performance and address issues promptly.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, waste reduction and productivity.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Communicate performance updates and shift priorities to management.
