Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for an Injection Moulding Shift Supervisor to join their growing manufacturing operation in the United Kingdom. You will take responsibility for the moulding operation during night shifts, leading a small team of setters and operators to keep production running safely and to quality standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with injection moulding and de-moulding robots, with a shift pattern including permanent night shifts and a 3-week rotating cycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in injection moulding operations.
• Experience supervising a small team of setters/operators.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across moulding processes.
• Experience in ensuring product quality and process control.
• Ability to make independent decisions when management is not on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of injection moulding setters and operators.
• Set up and operate injection moulding machinery.
• Manage production outside normal office hours.
• Troubleshoot moulding and production issues.
• Ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Work with complex mould tools and various materials.
• Operate and work with de-moulding robots.
• Carrying out mould changes and machine set-ups.
• Monitor production output and maintain efficient department operations.
• Support and guide team members during the shift.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
