Taylor Blackwood Associates are recruiting an experienced Night Shift Injection Mould Setter / Supervisor for a permanent position in Cannock. The role leads the night shift operation, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.

As the Night Shift Injection Mould Setter / Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the night shift, setting and optimising moulding machines, and maintaining quality and production records.

Qualifications

• IMT Level 3 Setter qualification (essential).
• Previous experience setting injection moulding machines.
• Supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the night shift production team.
• Set, adjust, and optimise injection moulding machines to IMT Level 3 standards.
• Monitor product quality and carry out in-process quality checks.
• Respond to machine faults and process issues, escalating where required.
• Manage stock levels of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Complete detailed shift handovers, including production, quality, and downtime reports.
• Train, support, and develop production operators.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Act as the senior point of contact on site during the night shift.

Pay: £14.50 per hour + £2.00 per hour night shift allowance

Hours: 48 Hours per Week (40 Hours Considered)

Shift Pattern

• Sunday to Wednesday: 8:00pm - 6:00am
• Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:00am
